Weekend Family Camps
Spend some quality family time in the beautiful Texas Hill Country at John Knox Ranch. At JKR Family Camp your family has the opportunity to unplug, relax, and reconnect with what is most important – family, faith, community and God's glorious creation.

JKRPG: A Call to Adventure
Join us November 22-24 for a weekend of combat, role-play, and fun! All participants can register for three separate one-shots of D&D or other TTRPG classics that we will get to play throughout the weekend. JKRPG is a chance for you to experience the beauty and community of John Knox Ranch with the epic and immersive fun of role-playing games. This is a judgment-free space and new players and game masters are encouraged! *This retreat is an adult retreat, and limited to participants twenty-one years of age and up.

Main Event for Youth Groups
Join us for Main Event 2024 September 20th-22nd! Hosted at John Knox Ranch, Main Event is a Mission Presbytery retreat for middle and high school youth groups. Enjoy classic camp activities like archery, canoeing, and zip lining all while growing a Christian community in the beauty of God's creation. "School's Out" Day Camps
What do you do with your kids on a school holiday? Send them to single day Day Camp at John Knox Ranch! "Schools Out" Day Camp at John Knox Ranch runs 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. for ages 4 – 10 year olds. Day Campers are grouped by age, usually in clusters of six to ten (6-10). They participate in many of the fun activities and unique experiences that JKR has to offer: nature play, fort building, singing, Bible stories, arts & crafts, canoeing, fishing, swimming (depending on the time of year), archery, arts and crafts, and more!

Ropes Course & Team Building
John Knox Ranch has both a Low and High Ropes Course designed to help groups of all ages (6th grade to adult) engage in team-building and personal challenge. We also offer zip lining, rock climbing, and rapelling.

Guided Adventure Activities
At its heart, John Knox Ranch is a summer camp. We have learned that all people (young in age and young at heart!) love the summer camp classics like: canoeing, archery, swimming (in the Blanco River, pool, or Blue Hole), and rock climbing.
