Swim Checks
If we are swimming, on the first day of camp, we do a "swim check" for each camper to assess his/her ability and comfort in the water. If campers aren't yet comfortable or strong enough to swim, we require that they wear a life-jacket. All campers wear life-jackets when canoeing and certified lifeguards are always present and on duty for all water activities.
