A weekend retreat for families and individuals from small churches in Mission Presbytery. This retreat is a collaboration between the Austin College ACtivators, the Mission Presbytery Connect Committee, and John Knox Ranch.

- Who is this for?For families and individuals from small churches in Mission Presbytery (membership of 75 or less) who would love to have a church retreat, but would benefit from combining with members from other churches.

- Screen Cabin with ceiling fan and a shared bathhouse $75 per person.
- Duplex Cabin with AC and a bathroom $125 per person.
- Casita Cabin: private building with AC, bathroom, kitchenette, comes with linens. $175 per person (limit 4 people per Casita)

Families and individuals welcome!
You will be responsible for your child(ren) while they are at camp. Families will stay together as they participate in activities around the camp. All ages are welcome! - Food
Food is part of our program! We are proud to serve homemade, delicious food at every meal. - Activities
We have a great list of potential activities: Ropes challenge course, disc golf, hiking, Bible stories, arts & crafts, canoeing, fishing, swimming, archery, tie-dyeing, rock climbing, rappelling, and more! Financial assistance is available. The scholarship application can be found in the registration portal. - Getting around camp
While here we ask you to fully participate in the life of camp. We encourage you to park your car and experience camp on foot for all who are able. If you have accessibility/transportation challenges you can use your personal vehicle to slowly and safely move around camp. All exterior gates are locked at night for camper safety. Any trips offsite must be pre-arranged with the director.

Yes! If you would like to house with another family that you know is coming please include that in your registration. There is a spot for requesting roommates.
Check in will be Friday evening and check out will be Sunday after Breakfast.
Yes! Financial assistance is available, depending on need. We do not want money to be the reason that keeps a child from experiencing summer camp at John Knox Ranch! Campers must register and pay the required deposit, then complete a scholarship request form (available through the registration portal or by calling our office).
For Family Camp, families stay in either one of our rustic screen cabins or a side of one of our duplex cabins with AC and a bathroom. There is slightly different pricing for each. Small families of 2 or 3 people may be asked to share housing with another small family.
We serve homemade, delicious food at every meal, and a snack each afternoon! Because community is important to camp life, meals are served "family style," with each family unit of cabins eating together. Our kitchen staff is able to handle just about any type of dietary preference, from vegetarian to vegan to allergy-related needs. There is a place to describe any food restrictions in the registration portal. If you have special concerns, we will visit with you in advance of your child coming to camp to make sure we understand what he or she needs.

We know that your child is precious to you; they are to us as well! Thus, everything we do at camp is done with "safety first" in mind. John Knox Ranch enjoys a good relationship with both the Wimberley and Canyon Lake Fire & EMS services, so we are covered in the event that we need emergency attention. We are also accredited by the American Camp Association, which requires that camps have safety and security measures in place at every level.
